88-89

I found some old pictures from 88-89 of my 2nd apartment in Phoenix. Check out the HI-FI. That was a dark period in my life, I didn't have a record player & had to buy cassettes. I think that box was my cassette holder. Here's another view of the apartment, that's Phil. He was my roommates friend, I think he was homeless or lived in a mens shelter. He use to come over & ask my roommate Dave if he could clean our place in exchange for something to eat.

Jay Reatard-In The Dark 7". This one really gets me going, I like to practice my high kicks & karate chops while listening to this. chop! chop! kick kick kick!

Black Lips-Cold Hands 7". This one is really fun, they sing about cold hands & I know a thing or two about cold hands. I like wear my mittens while I listen to this one. brrrrrrrr.

The Horrors-She is the New Thing 7". This record is funny & spooky & the cover has scary coyotes on it! Alot of people don't like this band because they wear eyeliner & have silly haircuts, but I say pooie on them!

Today was Olives first day at day care. Maria cried, & I tried to hold back from crying but it was impossoble.
